Yogi Peace Club Founder, Emma Barr
“It's constant learning, constant trying, constant frustration, But it's balanced with success and with recognition”
I’m joined today by passionate yogi, Emma Barr, founder of Yogi Peace Club, to talk about:
the ins and outs of starting a fashion brand from the ground up
the importance of believing in your product
and making it sustainable, in growth as well as for the planet.
In 2014, Em left a family trip to Bali inspired to create a brand that invoked some of the most powerful aspects of yoga practice, connection, community and inclusion. That brand became Yogi Peace Club, designed to bring out the inner yogi in everyone.
Since then, Yogi Peace Club has been worn, and the beautiful mats practiced on, by experienced and new lovers of yoga all around the world, is voted by Vogue as one of Australia’s best active wear brands, featured in Elle magazine, WellBeing, Women’s Health and regularly in Yoga Journal.
She has such an amazing energy and passion for life, and of course for her brand, and just so much wisdom to generously share.
If you’re not a yoga lover already you just might be after this, at the very least I think you might be keen to don a pair of Emma’s amazing creations and a big dose of her get it done and love what you do vibe.
