Restaurateur and Owner of Potager, Peter Burr

“Drawing on the experience that you have, you'll surprise yourself, how well you can do by just simply knowing what's worked for you in your corporate career and then applying that into your own business”

My chat today is with a fabulous gent named Peter Burr, who has spent most of his career as a top Marketing Exec for major Telco’s and IT, facing three redundancies over this time (yes, 3!!)

Peter decided to re-focus his approach to his marketing career, changing how he works to support his vision for creating an amazing and highly awarded destination restaurant, Potager, in Carool northern NSW.

Peter and I chatted in early 2022, and this episode is being released shortly after the devastating floods in NSW and QLD, luckily Peter’s restaurant was spared and he’s able to continue operating and providing employment for his team members in the area, of course many others weren’t - and rebuilding the entire area will take a long time after the headlines have disappeared, if you’re in a position to donate please consider heading to givit.org.au to get your support directly into the hands that need it.

I hope you enjoy this episode as much as I’ve enjoyed creating it for you, and if you do, please consider heading to Apple or Spotify and leaving a review – it will go such a long way in helping me grow this podcast and its community.
